The new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OTA Update for Rogers’ Sony Xperia T comes with all the features that you’ve seen on the AT&T and International variants. This update will offer you the possibility to set up to 7 desktop home screens, add auto-resizing widgets and interact with the notifications panel with a single tap.
Now, with the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, your Xperia T app drawer allows you to press and hold any app in order to send it to your home screen, create a folder and move the app within the tray easily by dropping it on any other application. You will notice that a search function is now present on in the app tray which allows you to easily find any application you want to use without the need to scroll through all the App Drawer menus.
The Sony Xperia T camera has been given better functionality as you will now be able to switch between back and front camera with a single tap of the screen, you will be able to use the ‘auto scene’ settings.
The best new feature released with the Android 4.1.2 for Xperia T has to be the Google Now service. If you saw the Google Now functions demoed on other devices and you liked it, then you should now that you can use it on your phone starting today.
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for your Rogers Xperia T is delivered via OTA Update.
