HTC One Dual-SIM to Hit The European Market, Too

HTC One dual-SIM
HTC One is definitely one of the most impressive smartphones launched on the market in 2013. For the Chinese market, the Taiwan-based phone maker has developed a dual SIM variant of its flagship smartphone. The integrity of the aluminium and ceramics case was slightly affected by the dual-SIM support, as the new HTC One variant comes with a removable back lid.
The removable back cover hides the two microSIM card slots and the microSD slot that is available on the new model. Today we are learning that the dual-SIM HTC One will soon become available on the European market, as well, and the cold and far Russia will be the first to get the hands on it.
For the time being, it’s not sure whether the Taiwanese company will decide to introduce the HTC One dual-SIM on the other European markets, therefore we are advising you to take the rumors with a pinch of salt. A smartphone that has support for two SIM cards is not appreciated by the carriers, so if the HTC One dual-SIM debuts in Europe, it will only be available for purchase at full price.
In Russia, the price of the HTC One dual-SIM is about $950. Pretty expensive, huh? The specifications of the HTC One dual-SIM will be identical to the ones of the original model. The only exception is the microSD card slot.
I will remind you that the HTC One sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 display with full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The HTC One is underpinned by a Snapdragon 600 chipset manufactured by Qualcomm, based on four Krait 300 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and Adreno 320 GPU. The smartphone also comes with 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, and the dual-SIM variant will also support microSD expansion of up to 64 GB.
While most of the smartphone makers have integrated 13 megapixel cameras on their flagships for 2013 (see Sony Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy S4, and LG Optimus G Pro), the Taiwanese company has mounted a 4 megapixel camera on the back of the HTC One. The primary camera has an UltraPixel sensor with autofocus, LED flash, 1/3” sensor size, 2┬Ám pixel size, simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, optical image stabilization, and support for 1080p@30 fps video recording.
In terms of connectivity, the HTC One sports all the features worthy of a modern smartphone like, HSPA+; LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC chip, Bluetooth 4.0, IR blaster, and microUSB 2.0. The flagship smartphone of the Taiwanese company is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, customized with the company’s proprietary Sense 5 interface.
