Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rival Dubbed HTC T6 to Pack Snapdragon 600 CPU and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

HTC T6 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rival

Even though the current flagship smartphone of the Taiwanese company, HTC One has barely hit the market and is a powerful competitor of best android smartphone of the year, the rumor mill speculates that HTC will launch another high-end device, a rival for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 3. What’s even more interesting is that the HTC T6 will reportedly run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie out of the box, while being underpinned by a Snapdragon 800 CPU.
The folks at Google didn’t rush to announce a new Android version at Google I/O 2013 event that took place a couple of weeks ago, but rumor has it that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be announced sometime in July along with the next-gen Nexus 7 tablet. But what about Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie? As I know Google, they would probably wait until October, when Android celebrates its 5th birthday, to launch Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and the Nexus 5.
It seems though that the HTC T6 phablet will be the first terminals on the market to come pre-loaded with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and just like its Galaxy Note 3 rival, will reportedly pack a 5.9-inch full HD display.
The rumors regarding the HTC T6 phablet and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are pretty similar. The rumor mill speculates that the HTC phablet will be underpinned by a Snapdragon 800 SoC four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and Adreno 320 GPU, plus 2 GB of RAM. Reports are indicating that the South Korean phone maker have chosen the same chipset for its upcoming Galaxy Note 3.
HTC T6 will have 16 GB of internal storage, and unlike the HTC One, it will have a microSD card slot. The phablet will reportedly come with Boom Sound and stereo speakers and UltraPixel camera (most likely the same unit fitted on the back of the HTC One), plus a 3,000 mAh battery.
Moreover, the rumors say that the HTC phablet will come with a stylus, which is a clear sign that the Taiwanese phone maker aims to bite a big chunk of Samsung Galaxy Note 3′s market share.
Sources close to the Taiwanese company say that the HTC T6 will be announced towards the end of the year and that the South Koreans will be the first ones to get their hands on the terminal.
What are you expecting from the HTC T6? Any guesses on the technical specifications? Please let us know in the comments section below.
