Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Ace 3 Specs Go Live

Next month Samsung will hold this year’s Premiere event when the company will unveil some of its new hardware. Of course, Samsung will probably not launch any of its flagship devices, but we expect to see the Galaxy Tab 3 and the Galaxy Ace 3. Even if they are not considered the best Samsung products, some people are looking forward to buying them, and it would be nice if they would have the possibility to know about their specs in advance.
Fortunately, they can find out as some rumors are surfacing the web specifying the technical specifications of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and the Galaxy Ace 3. The rumor has firstly appeared on thesite that launched the rumor about the Galaxy Zoom smartphone, thus the details could be actually the real deal.
We have seen previous reports that offered information about the specs of the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3. However, now it’s time to move on and see what the 10-incher will bring along. Anyway, according to the report, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy tab 3 10.1 won’t have a full HD display, instead it will boast a resolution of 1280 x 700. Just like other similar handsets, the tablet will come in various models depending on the amount of internal storage (16 and 32GB), and depending on its connection capabilities (3G and Wi-Fi only). In case there are customers who think that even the 32 GB version doesn’t have enough storage space, they will be happy to hear that the device will have a microSD card slot for expanding the memory.
Further, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will allegedly sport a dual-core CPU that will be clocked at 1.6 GHz, which means that the rumored Intel Z2560 could be the CPU powering the device as it has the same clock speed. Apart from the processor, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is also said to come with an amount of 1 GB of RAM, a 13 MP primary camera, a 3 MP secondary one located in the front, and a 6800 battery. Lastly, the tablet will measure 243.1 x 176.1 x 7.95 mm in size, and will weight around 500 grams. As for the operating system, it will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
As for the Galaxy Ace 3, considering that it’s meant to be a mid-range smartphone, don’t expect it to pack very impressive hardware. However, it’s rumored to have decent specs like a dual-core CPU clocked at 1GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of internal memory, which seems kind of small, but it is what it is. Nevertheless, this won’t be such a big issue as it will have support for microSD cards.
It seems that the display of the Galaxy Ace 3 will not come with anything new as it will have the same 800 x 480 resolution as its predecessor, but it will have 4 inches, which is slightly bigger than the Galaxy Ace 2. The cameras of the Galaxy Ace 3 will also be the same, namely a 5 MP one in the back, and the standard VGA shooter in the front. Same case for the battery, which will also be the same as the one of the Ace 2, meaning that the smartphone will come with the old 1500 battery. The only major improvement will be the OS, which will be an upgraded Jelly Bean version.
Anyway, is the mentioned technical specifications are accurate, then we are looking at two devices that will bring nothing new to the table as they practically are upgraded models of their predecessors. Still, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and the Galaxy Ace 3 will certainly find their customers because they will probably be budget-friendly, it’s just that there isn’t anything interesting about them.
