Android 4.4.2 N900XXUDND1 Update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Now Rolling out

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2

Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update has been rolled out for Sammy’s phablet for several months, certain markets were yet to receive the new firmware.
The new Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is labeled N900XXUDND1 and it’s being rolled out both over-the-air and via Kies. Once your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be ready to receive the new software update you will receive a system update notification message and all you need to do is tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can also check for the Android 4.4.2 N900XXUDND1  update manually under Settings > More > About Phone > Software update > Check for software updates. Another method to update your Galaxy Note 3 to Android 4.4.2 is through KIES. If neither of these worked for you, you should stick with us because a tutorial that will teach you how to update your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to Android 4.4.2 KitKat N900XXUDND1 will be published in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 update section of our website.
What’s new in the N900XXUDND1 build? We can’t know for sure because Samsung didn’t release an official change log yet. Anyway, we can make guess. The update arrives with the usual KitKat goodies such as white status bar icons, transparent status bar, cloud printing, better power management, full screen album art in the lockscreen, immersive mode, camera shortcut in the lockscreen, color emoji support and more. It will also bring TouchWiz-specific changes like slightly revised interface, improved Samsung Keyboard, and updated Samsung native applications.
As usual, the new firmware is being rolled out in phases, so if you don’t get it over-the-air the best way to install N900XXUDND1 on your Galaxy Note 3 is to follow the instructions the tutorial that will be posted on our website in the next few hours.
If the update didn’t reach your phone, then you can follow our tutorial here and learn how to flash the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware.
