Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Android 4.4.2 Update Rolling out in the States

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Android 4.4.2

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Android 4.4.2 OTA update is now being pushed to users in the United States, according to a Google+ post by Lance Burkhardt Samsung Experience Consultant Lead.
Last week it was reported that the Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 Edition is being rolled out in Colombia and other select markets for the WiFi-only model. Since the WiFi-only variant is getting updated in the US and in other regions as well, the 3G/4G models will hopefully follow soon enough.
Even though Burkhardt haven’t mentioned anything about the rate at which the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Android 4.4.2 is pushed to the users, we will most likely be dealing with a staged roll out, meaning that some of you might not be able to download it right away.
The update file weighs 550 MB and once your Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is eligible to receive the new firmware you should receive a system update notification. Tap on it, then follow the on-screen instructions. In case you haven’t received the system update notification it’s recommended to perform a manual check under Settings > More > About device > Software updates > Check for software updates. Given the size of the update file it’s recommended to download it using a stable WiFi network.
There’s no official change log for the Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition yet, but you should expect to have a lot in common to the KitKat updates that have been rolled out for other Samsung devices. Aside the usual KitKat-goodies such as white status bar icons, transparent status bar, new Location menu, cloud printing, immersive mode, color emoji support, you should also expect minor TouchWiz interface changes, improved Samsung Keyboard, updated Samsung apps, and better power management.
Has the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update been made available for your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition? What country are you based in? Please let fellow owners know in the comments section.
